So, my mother went to beauty school to be a hair dresser & 1 of the VERY IMPORTANT things I learned from her was that oil and water DONT MIX! You should NEVER apply oil to WET HAIR. That can cause even more damage, when applying heat to dry it. Otherwise, the rest of what he’s saying is correct. But please…do NOT apply ur oil until ur hair is already dry!!! Ur welcome!

pro tip: the best haircut to grow out your long hair so wont get the awkward phase is get a undercut for the first 3-4months of your 1 year growing a long hair after like 6months you tie a top mini man-bun already and after a year its already badass long hair.

Hold on a minute.. you can for sure have variety with long hair styles.. middle part, side part, in between part, you can use a soft pomade and still slick it back, you can have it tussled and loose, neat, etc. The options are just as many there, you just gotta find the right products for it. I have similar length and use a clay pomade and made a more messy slick back, just as an example. Btw.. I love your long hair, looks gorgeous!

"Wash hair everyday" if you work in a bakery or other sweaty jobs maybe.....you should watch all the dried powder from that stuff on your clothes .You might as well rub talcum powder in your hair....Only for those who don't mind itchy scalps.
